Privacy Policy
How Mochi handles account information, creative inputs and outputs, service data, providers, retention, security, and privacy choices.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Mochi handles information when you visit the Mochi website, create or use an account, use the creative workspace, contact us, or otherwise interact with the service.
Mochi is currently operating under the Mochi service identity. Additional legal-entity details required for paid services or particular jurisdictions will be published before those services are activated.
2. Information we collect
We process information you provide directly, such as account details, profile information, prompts, uploaded media, feedback, support messages, and other content you choose to submit.
When you use Mochi, we may also process service information such as generation requests, model and workflow selections, generation status, credit balances, saved assets, favorites, account activity, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
When you contact Mochi, we may process your name, email address, subject, message, IP address, and browser or device information associated with the request.
3. Prompts, uploads, and generated content
Prompts, uploaded images or other media, and generation settings are processed so Mochi can perform the creative task you request.
Generated content and generation history can be associated with your authenticated account so you can access your work, history, and saved assets. These account resources are intended to remain scoped to your account unless you choose to share or publish an output through an available feature.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain Mochi, authenticate accounts, run requested generations, save account data and creative work, manage credits, respond to support requests, protect the service, diagnose failures, and improve reliability and product performance.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified operational information to understand how features perform and where the product needs improvement.
5. Service providers and AI model providers
Mochi relies on service providers for parts of its infrastructure, including account and database services, hosting, email delivery, and connected AI model providers.
When you use a workflow powered by an external AI model provider, Mochi may send the prompt, uploaded content, generation settings, and other information necessary to complete that request. The provider may process that information under its own terms and privacy practices.
Mochi only intends to send information that is reasonably necessary to provide the requested workflow. Model and provider availability can change over time.
7. Security
Mochi uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect account information and private service data. Sensitive service credentials and provider keys are handled on the server rather than intentionally exposed to the browser.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping access to your account and authentication methods secure.
8. Data retention
We retain account information, generation records, saved assets, support records, and related service data for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and reliability, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, or support legitimate operational needs.
When content or an account is deleted through an available product control, some information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, fraud-prevention records, or other systems where immediate deletion is not technically or legally appropriate.
9. Your privacy choices
Available Mochi controls may allow you to manage profile information, download or delete supported assets, manage saved work, and request account deletion.
Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you additional rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing. You can contact Mochi to make a privacy request.
10. International processing
Mochi and the service providers used to operate it may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Data-protection rules can differ between jurisdictions.
Where applicable law requires specific safeguards for international transfers, Mochi will use appropriate mechanisms as the service and legal operating structure develop.
11. Third-party services and links
Mochi may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
Before sending information to an external service through a Mochi workflow, consider whether you are comfortable with that provider processing the information needed to perform the request.
12. Privacy requests and questions
For questions about this Privacy Policy, account information, deletion, or other privacy matters, use the Mochi Contact page. Please provide enough information for us to understand and respond to your request.
13. Changes to this policy
Mochi may update this Privacy Policy as the product, providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. When the policy is materially updated, the effective date shown at the top of this page will be revised.
Additional disclosures required for paid billing, new service categories, or specific jurisdictions will be added before or when those features become applicable.
